Ilvina Gabrielian comes from her home country of Russia. After earning a Specialist’s Diploma degree at the Saint Petersburg State Conservatory (Saint Petersburg, Russia), where she studied with the violin professor Alexander Stang, Ilvina came to the United States to further her education. She was a Graduate Teaching Assistant at the University of Kansas, where she studied with the violin professor David Colwell and earned her master’s and doctoral degrees in Violin Performance. Continuing her educational pursuits, Ilvina is currently an Artist’s Certificate student of the violin professor Benny Kim at the University of Missouri – Kansas City where she has been awarded a Concertmaster Fellowship.
Throughout her studies, Ilvina has participated in solo and chamber masterclasses with such outstanding musicians as Gil Shaham, Zlatomir Fung, Frank Huang, Michael Stern, Stephanie Chase,…
